many people on the web ditch it.saying it's a POS that you should replace immediately.
I LIKE IT!!!!!!!
plenty of bass and lack of 8Khz bright highs, exactly what i love.
(confession: i am bass player converted to a guitarist lately so i'm looking for bass everywhere) 8)

this amp is great.
the bigger brother runs on 4 ohms hence the many problems/burnt speakers/fuses and other stuff.
but this one is a cheap great small and very loud fella.
no problems so far!

so what is the speaker on it??
Chinese eminence? doesn't look like the eminence basket...
actually the whole speaker reminds me more of a celestion gt12k-100.
of course with a weaker voice coil and smaller magnet.
maybe it's a chineese cheapo version of a celestion gt12k-100,g12t-75?
a generic chineese brand speaker??
does anyone here knows???

thanks for the reply jeffo i thought noone will reply.
this post was written before i started cranking up the volume
when you start cranking up the volume this speaker starts farting.
i think it's because it has a really low xmax.
you can see the suspension(is that what's it called??the thing under the cone)of this speaker is really but really small....

i'm considering replacing it now.
i thought maybe putting celestion vintage 30 in it.
will it be a good match or eminence is a better match for this amp?
i really like the sound of the stock speaker at low volumes.
i just want to have the same sound without the farting in high volumes too.
it wont happen with stock speaker.
