Wow! If you are learning Django Reinhardt you must be good. What song are you learning? I am a beginner but I hope to play like SRV someday, seriously.
Nothing on the amp works except for the Return effects loop. I thought that it is supposed to be this way without the power transistors Q12 and Q14. Should I check the circuits for reverb sound? There is no ringing or feedback.

I learned "tears" and quite good right now, now I study "Swing 42" and "Tea for Two" (I replay guitar since last christmas after 20y stop).

For the amp, the normal input should work, there is no link with the power transistors.
The transistor missing are a second power amplifier connected in // to the one that still working.

Oh no. In that case I have more work to do. I ordered a new input jack. I have to pull up on this one to get sound but it is very distorted sound. I do not know if the input jack is causing this or not.

There is a very poor chance that the jack make distortion. Let me know if you already change the jack or not?

No I have not received the new jack yet. The loop effects jack works but when I use the regular input jack there is very loud distortion.

By using return the reverb should work, let me know;

If you plug the guitar at the regular input what do you ear at "send" output using headphone ?

When using the return the reveb does work but the sound does not change when I turn the reverb dial. But it does get louder when I turn the effects mix dial.

I do not have a headphone jack or adapter that is 1/4". I can purchase an adapter from a local store if I need to.

Have a look on schematic to make sure we understand each other (I try to be simplest as possible):

When a jack is in Return the string sound enters on pin 2, goes to pin 9 and is connected to 8 (because the jack push the 8 to the 9). the signal from 8 is apply on Opamp (pin3) U4A through R71-C39; U4A is a non inverter stage with a gain fixed by R74-73 ... The U4A output (pin 1) is connected to R76 (50K effect mix). R76 is connected to return pin 6 through C40. Because the jack return push pin 6 to pin 5 the signal is applied on U6A pin3 (reverb sound way), another opamp used as follower for the reberb. The signal is also applied on U5B through C41-R79 (direct sound way).

Then the effect mix pot is a kind of attenuator with R78. (that fit with your observation)

U6A puts the signal within the reberb pan and get out to U6B. The signal direct and reverb are added on each other by U5B (adder stage).

The reverb sound from U6B and aaplied on the adder is controlled by R85 (reverb dial).

Then I don't understand why it doesn't work because you ear the reverbered sound.

I do not know. I thought you were speaking Chinese for a moment there. Where on the drawing is this located? But I do certainly trust your analysis.

I disconnected the two wires from the reverb pan and the I still get sound from the return effects jack.

OK Reverb wires disconnected --> clean sound managed by Mix dial.

Reverb reconnected --> are you able to ear reverb using reverb dial ?

If no --> desolder Q8 (take picture before)

Are you able to ear the reverb using reverb dial ?

OK. Thank you for the location. I will study that. Unfortunately I have to leave town for a weekend trip. I do not have your email address and I hope that you will check back here Sunday night. I will do what you said and I got a headphone jack and did not hear anything from the send output effects loop while plugged into the regular input jack. Thank you again and I will be back by Sunday night.

I got back from my trip to Savannah, Ga. Had a nice time.
I installed a new input jack and still waiting on the transistors. I don.t think the reverb is working. No matter what setting it is on there is some distortion, even in clean setting. You can hear the different tones in the strings but not clean at all.
I took out Q8 and got feedback noise even with all knobs turned down.

Refresh my old mind:

TP24, 24, 26, 27 give the right voltages ?

Connect a guitar on "return" give a clean sound without reverb ?

Connect a guitar on normal input gives a crappy sound ?

Connect a guitar on normal and heard on "sent" gives a crappy sound ?

Yes correct voltages

Connect a guitar on "return" give a clean sound without reverb ?

No. No sound with reverb dial and distorted sound with effects dial, almost like reverb.

Connect a guitar on normal input gives a crappy sound ?

Same sound as before on return. Almost like a reverb sound. Not clean.

Connect a guitar on normal and heard on "sent" gives a crappy sound ?

No sound on "send", but crappy sound on "line out"
