Oh absolutely, the stock caps are IC (Illinois cap?). I thought that I had been very lucky for them to last this long (over 10 years), and I wouldn't dream of using the same brand. I can't even remember the brand of the spares that I got, F&T?, black caps with gold lettering. I may order some more for the HRDvl, what do you guys recommend, that aren't too pricey? :)

Mine didn't last 3 months. Cheap garbage. Sad thing is I believe they use them in the reissues too.

I'd go with the F&T, Sozo, or the regular Spragues. Nichicon does make 105 C rated caps, but I think they only go up to 450VDC. Art
