Pretty much the same methods I use on my amps, whether vintage or re-issue. I'm a skosh more conservative regarding idle bias......NOS bottles cost beau coup bucks.

And I never push a D120F or D130F beyond its design parameters -- I could buy a pair of V30s for what it costs to re-cone a JBL.

Well, that kind of takes the fun out of it. Nothing like the facts to snuff a good discussion. Very cool of Jim to visit us and give us the inside info. I've been a fan since I "found" him in the Fender video. He's the best.

Well... I have my new Campilongo Orange Princeton Reverb Amp.

I know how Jim sets them up.

I have a boatload of Tele's.

Now... if I just had the talent... :oops:

Thanks to the "Outstanding" Jim for sharing all this, ans thx to everybody 4 their contributions.
I ordered a power attenuator, and now I'm waiting to force this amp to the wall :lol:
