Blues Delux ReIssue vs Hot Rod Delux :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Besides the white vs black covering and no "more drive" button on the Hot Rod, what are the differences between these amps????

Thanks

GAIN.....the Blues Deluxe RI is a modest gain amp and will give you that creamy, blusey, overdriven sound, not heavy distortion as can be had with the HRD.

So it depends on your choice of music and whether or not you like using effect pedals. The BDRI is best for Blues, 60's/70'Rock & Roll, and country. If you're into hard rock and/or metal, then the HRD is the better choice (this is assuming you prefer to get your sound without effect pedals).

The BDRI was developed first, and then the Hot Rod series became a modified BDRI.

Best advice is to go to somewhere like a Guitar Center where you can play both of them side by side and make your choice.
