Hello folks

Does anyone know the Fender Part Number for the guitar input socket on a RocPro 1000?

Mine is getting a bit "scratchy" now - the amp is 12 years old and used daily - and I want to make sure I get the right thing.

Cheers

Hi,,
I'm waiting to get the same thing done to my Performer 1000.So it just happens I can tell you as I bought the part..

STANDARD AMPLIFIER HARDWARE

MONO JACK INPUT

099-0912-000

Regards Goatbreath..

P.S My Reverb tank seems to be crackling on mine a bit..Do you have the same problem..tap on the top of the amp and it sounds like a deep fat fryer..

Thanks for the info. - I'll have a look for one tomorrow and get it sorted.

I've never had a problem with my reverb tank but, that said, it's not something I use a great deal.

not sure if i am right, but aren't most 1/4" input jacks the same? i have been playing around with electronics for about 40 years, all input jacks i have seen have 2 connections. obviously things like stereo jacks have 3.

couldn't you just get one at your local electronics store?

if the jacks are different, please let me know- i could learn something new

I believe the jacks on these newer amps are actually attached to the PCB via solder-in mounting lugs as opposed to the older style which are affixed to the front panel of a chassis by means of a threaded hex nut retainer.

Yes that's right and it is a pain in the bottom..I got mine fixed and he used a second-hand part..I have to loop my guitar cable through the carrying handle to keep upward pressure on the input for it to work..It is also a sealed unit..The tip came of one of my Nuetrik jacks and I couldn't get the thing back out so,, non working amp..
As well as it's many other quirks..The Fender clean sound on them is good though,,well at least that's one thing going for it..
