Hi,

I have a fender blues junior amp, and it has a jack connection from the amp to the speaker.

The manual says "this Jack provides a connection to the internal speaker or any 8-ohm external speaker cabinet that you choose"

Basically, I can disconnect the internal speaker and connect to an external one.

I was wondering if I could connect to my computer soundcard instead, and use a speaker from Amplitube plugin instead.

I presume my soundcard is not "8-ohm"?

I have no idea what this is.

I didn't want to try in case I do something very wrong.

Would any of you guys be able to let me know if this is a good / bad idea, and if it is do-able.

I think I would get a great recording sound if I could use the real amp / reverb, and just use the speaker / mics from Amplitube.

All help / advice much appreciated,

Cheers,

Vinny

No, don't plug the output of the amp into anything but an external speaker or power soak. The Amplitube is for the guitar only, not the amp. You could mic the amp, and put the mic into your sound card, or use a USB mic for recording directly to the computer. :)

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
