I own an original Cyber Twin and was wondering how I find out what version I have 1.0 or 1.3 and how I would upgrade to 1.3 if I have 1.0. Also is there a good PC based patch editor out there? I just noticed that i have the infamous tube rattle problem. Is the upgrade the way to deal with this or is there some other method?

The 'upgrades' were primarily a hardware mod. I have a Ver 1.0 and had a volume drop problem. This I found out was due to a bad bunch of logic chips that were installed in a few amps, this was back in 2000.

When I got my amp from a local Fender repair shop, they had installed a new logic chip, and a back brace underneath the circuit board. Some people were having 'tube rattle' due to the being carried around. The brace reinforced the circuit board. When I turnes my amp on it said Ver 1.3

If your amp is having problems than contact Fender repair, if not, than your CT is fine.

Now, there a guy who wrote a preset editor http://www.patchwizard.com/ but I heard another team was working on another editor for the CT & CT-SE.

I use Patch Wizard to back up my customized presets to my computer. If your logic chip ever fails, all your customized presets will be lost.
