Hi I have a Cyber-Twin that won't crank up.
turned it on after a gig in the weekend and it would'nt light up. Only the red power duel on/off light, TRIM and TAP light came up. But nothing else.
No Display screen or sound.
Has anyone else had this problem.
Would like to know.

There are a couple of fuses located on the secondery for the transformer, check them, but if one is dead do not change without short circuit investigation.

If you open the amp unplug the amp before and make sure regarding safety for high voltage.

if you open it up, wiggle the cables and connectors to make they are tight.

if you feel comfortable with electronics, step 1 is check the power supply, make sure supply voltages are what they should be. a power supply is something most electronics techs can repair easily.

once the power supply checks out and all cables and connectors are tight and problem persists, keep checking the "power supply voltage" on the the amp boards(s) at the various test points. again, most techs can do this & repair.

beyond that, it's a crap shoot if you figure it out not. those boards are complex and require a factory service manual to troubleshoot.

good luck.

Thanks for all the replys and advice.
Yep must have been something loose a contact or something. Techo took the lid off and checked it out and couldn't find anything wrong.
Up and running sweetly again. A mystery to me.
Hope it dosn't happen at the next gig.
Cheers
