G.A.S is killing me !
I was pretty much decided for the Fender Pro Jr, until I saw the Bugera v22 and some reviews and it attempted me!
I will buy a new amp but I have no ways on test them before. So I must rely on your opinions to decide!
What matters to me is the TONE, despite the effects the bugera might have. Ill get along with a Vox Tonelab St and Hwy1 Strat with CS69.
All suggestions will be very welcome! Thanks!

I've heard that there are serious quality issues with the Bugera product.

Bugera/Berhringer is not known for its build quality. Between those two amps, I'd go with the Pro Jr.

Make sure that you play a PJ before buying. Many of them have hiss/hum/ratlle issues. Not a deal breaker, but be aware.

Some Billm mods for the PJ (more in the works too including a different xfmr) :

I let the magic smoke out of a Bugera V22 on the showroom floor and the salesman got his panties in a knot over it. LOL What a piece of junk. Didn't sound that great either.

It's all been mentioned. The PJ is an easy winner here.

I have had some personal experience with Behringer products. It seems like a great deal when you get twice the features for half the price but it's been my experience that they crap out a few weeks after the warranty expires and because they are so inexpensive they become scrap when they fail because it costs as much or more to repair them than it does to buy a new one.

Case in point. About 8 or 9 years ago we bought a 16 channel mixing board with built in F/X for about $600. One year warranty. One year and 3 weeks after we bought it the sliders started crapping out one at a time. At the 15 month point 3 channels were down and it became no longer usable as we required a minimum of 14 for our outfit. Took it in for repair and was quoted $500 so we just bought another one. Within six months it was down to 9 usable channels on the first one and the second one had already lost a channel. It was still under warranty so they gave us a new one to replace the second one. Since the he third one was a replacement for the second one it was under the warranty period of the second one which meant we had about 5 or 6 months left. At the 14 month point from the time of purchace of the second one it started crapping out too. This time it was no output signal to the amp. we had it repaired for $200 and immediately sold it for $300 so we got $100 for it. Threw the first one in the trash and bought an Allen & Heath for $1,400 and have never once had a problem with it. In the end I crunched the numbers and found we had spent a total of $2,500 (plus tax) and more than 2 years of frustration to finally end up with a $1,400 trouble free board. I do still have a pair of Behringer 18" subs which have yet to give me any grief but the mixer experience was enough to teach me a valuable lesson. Which is: NEVER buy any Behringer products whatsoever for ANY reason.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
