Will it hurt an SCXD to leave it on for
extended periods of time ???

I like to practice periodically during the
day... Will the tubes need replacing more
often than if I kept turnning it on and off ???

Thanks ,,,

If it has a standby, leave it on that. If not, your tubes are living things that have a life expectancy. That's shortened by each on/off cycle. But also by leaving them on all day--the pure time factor. If you were only going to play a couple of times during the day, I'd turn them off each time. But if you were going to jump on 5 or 6 times a day, you might be better to leave it on as that many "fire-ups" a day could really shorten tube life.
