I am not sorry I paid the 250 more to get the DRRI.its a better amp with a great history and one that is pretty much trouble free. Those things are worth the extra money.

Preach it, Brutha Bud!

I'm quite happy with my BDRI and see no reason to change.

People, all views taken into account...I agree with 63supro that the DRRI is a better amp and I know that 63supro does not like the Hotrod Series of Amps due to his personal experience.

63supro I appreciate your experience and will continue to do so.

Please let me share my experience with you's.

My first Hotrod series amp is my 410 Deville, I have gigged that thing across many stages for the last 3 years without fail and have been happy with it's performance.

I then purchased a Blues Junior to cover smaller gig's and home use...like the Deville I can say the same for this amp.

Now to my Blues Deluxe reissue to which some people would call it a broken down robbed version of the Hotrod Deluxe, Just like bluesky 636 I am more than happy with my purchase of this amp and I do not regret it.

The recent purchase of my BDR has put me into the ball park further by allowing me another option to go to.

Believe it or not I went through a stage of buying guitar after guitar and now I am onto buying amp after amp...

My guitar store rang me yesterday and told me that my pro tube twin has arrived...my heart nearly jumped out of my chest from the adrenaline...

I have already forecasted that I will be lining up for a DRRI later down the track.

Ok so the Hotrod series of amps are what they are but when we start talking DRRI and me adding my Pro Tube Twin, both these amps provide that bliss that working musos are always chasing....Tone and Structual reliability...

Yes some of you may say Kineman Karma is a greedy $@!&#, but I have children that these things will go to when I die...

I believe that Fender provides us with different options and every individual has a right to go with what their wallet, head and heart tells them to.

All that said, everyone that has posted on the BDRI has a right with their opinion to do so..

Just adding my ingrediant to the pie... :)
