I recently got a cover from Musicians Friend for my SCXD...the cover for the Blues Junior is thh closest fit. Anyway the FENDER logo is different...instead of the usual "E," on this cover it's printed "e." Misprint? Bootleg?

No misprint, that logo is correct for the Blues Junior and other Hot Rod or Tweed era amps. Take a look at the logo Fender used in the 50's and you will see that is how it looked. The Super Champ XD has blackface cosmetics and logo and would in reality have the newer logo on it's cover if they offer one. Take a look at GC or other retailers amp covers and you will see the difference in logos by era. As long as it fits I wouldn't worry about it. I have a Cyber Deluxe which I couldn't get a correct cover for but the Hot Rod Deluxe fit perfect. It however has the earlier logo as opposed to the blackface logo. The cover fits well so I don't care.

I gotta ask, Clayton how well does it fit? I'm thinking of getting one for my SCXD.

Would this cover also fit a VibroChamp XD?

Bathead...It's not a tight fit on the SCXD and it's about a half an inch too long. I looked at all the available Fender covers by size and the BJ cover looked to be the closest fit. It's good looking protection from dirt and dust.

rdsmith3...Look up the size of your amp...length, width, depth...then the size of the available Fender covers...you should be able to find one that reasonably fits your VCXD. Good luck!

TNX, Clayton, good to know. I'd rather it be a half-inch too long than a half-inch too short. Close enough for me.

Sven:
I saw that...from the Fender website under Amp Accessories: Amp Cover, Multi-Fit, Champion 110, XD Series, G-DEC30®, Black Model: 0041529000.

The measurements of this cover are 25"(H) X 17"(W) X 8.25" (D). The SCXD measures 15"(H) X 17.5"(W) X 9" (D). Seems like the designated "XD Series" cover would be too long (height) and not wide or deep enough. That's why I went with the BJ cover...the measurements were closer to those of the SCXD. As I said, it's a good fit and it looks good.

I don't know the part number, but there really is a specific cover for the SCXD. I bought one. I use it every day.
