One of the foot switch buttons on my Fender Cyber Twin 4 button pedal has stopped working. What kind of button do I need to soldier in its place? I think it's a DPDT, 6 pin switch, but not sure. Could someone help me out here?

I think the part is a Carling 316-b-pp. I know a lot of people have had issues with this footswitch, so hopefully this helps some of you guys out.

I'm interested in using a footswitch with more than four buttons. I'm using a Cybertwin circa (approx) 2004.

Any ideas?

Can I just buy any footswitch that has the same MIDI pin config?

I'm having the same button-not-working issue, by the way, which is what has prompted me to consider getting a bigger pedal board (because I'm in a working band and could use more sounds), rather than fixing the button.

Any suggestions on this matter would be appreciated.

Adam
