I agree. I feel that you don't need a high gain tube in the phase inverter (V3), it should be a quality low noise/low microphonic tube. And the cool part, is that it's easy to change. :)

I think that half of V2 is used for the drive channel in the BDlx. You might try a lower gain tube there, or even the "hybrid" tube.....12DW7?(is that the one?) It's the tube that has a different gain for each half of the tube. One half has the gain of a 12AX7 and the other half has a lower gain like a 12AU7. The first half of V2 is used for the normal and drive channel. :)

Nevermind! The other half of V2 isn't used on the BDlx, I should have looked at the schematic first, I'm thinking HRDlx. Sorry! :oops:

ok i cut the re-verb resistor and couldn't decide if i liked one over the other so i just added a mini toggle lol now i have both :P
and the 5751 in v3 worked better so no more breakup at practice :D thanks for the advice it definitely helped.
