+1 I add the whole HRD series to that list. Sorry. They do satisfy a certain price point though.

newt, it depends on the speaker manufacturer, the clearance inside your stock cabinet and how it's constructed. The minimum I could imagine is making a new baffle. If the baffle's glued in, it could be a problem. It's still no guarantee it will sound good. Just because it might fit doesn't mean anything. Cabinet size and style have a bearing on tone. I would just get a 1x15 cab and call it a day or build a custom cab for it. Or do what I did and sell the amp and get something you're totally happy with.

Guess nobody's done it before, I say go for it! I'd love to hear what it sounds like.

I just got back from GC, I played a Twin with 15 and that is EXACTLY the sound I'm looking for! 15 is the way to go IMO. Do it! :)
