Ok guys, here's the deal. I got this great idea of modding my HRD 212. First I decided to go with Eurotube JJs blues option #2. I wanted to drop the wattage and make the two overdrives usable (yeah, IMHO they just don't cut it). After talking with Eurotube option #2 seems the way to go.
I don't have them yet so I can't give you a review. Well I got to thinking about loudspeakers and decided what the hell.

Anyway, I play heavy blues to heavy metal. I have several distortions that I use to achieve the different tones but I want to get more tone from the amp. I e-mailed Celestion a little earlier so I haven't heard back yet. While I'm waiting I'd like to hear what you guys use.

I let Celestion know that I use Strats and a Tele mainly but that I'll have a Les Paul soon. Now you know my musical preferences and my equipment. Whatcha got?

Thanks in advance.

If you're joined at the hip to Celestions and you favor "heavy blues to heavy metal" I'd opine that a pair of V30s or Vintage Greenbacks would be the ticket.

Guess I'd go with a Heritage G12-65 and a Vintage 30. You might be able to find a low hour, made in England Vintage 30. Art
