Hello,

I have a Fender Cyber Twin SE and am having a problem with an unpleasant screeching sound. I was able to fix the problem once in the past by doing a factory resest - I don't know why this worked, but it did.

This problem occurs regardless of the channel, placement of the amp, or guitar I am using. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Frank

that's because some of your settings can drive the SE nuts. the solutions is always to do a factory reset. that's the way the SE software is. why? because!

Wow man... I did not know that. I actually only signed up for this forum because I have a CTSE. Good info.

Some of the higher gain settings can make this amp very unruly.... I replaced the high gain 12AX7 preamp tubes with the lower gain 12AU7's and for my style of playing made all the more extreme Drive Circuits usable.... For example I can use the Hmb3 setting with out using the Hum Redux or the noise gate to quite the amp... I just crank in more Gain or Volume now and use the Presence Knob if I want to make the neighbors to take notice....Jakej

Hi Shawn,

take a look at:
http://www.generalcybersystems.com/GCSWebSite/index.php
this software helps understanding and using the CTSE to it fullest.
