Name of discontinued ampflier...possibly Custom Shop :?: .....w/Cesar Diaz designed circuit. Was one of those famous Fender 'greatest things since sliced bread' products. 8) So great they ceased production on it. :?

.......also......What's the difference between the new Supersonic 60 and the original 112? I've read the specs on both and what am I missing?
Thanks...
Doc

I use one of those '64 Vibroverb Customs and it's an amazing amp. 40 watts in standard mode and 50 watts with the mod circuit on.

Many share your enthusiasm for it. Interesting how, once they D/C a product line, it becomes a 'must have'. Guess they were making room for the Supersonics.

From what I've read they didn't sell very well, the $2500 price tag certainly didn't help. But you're right, a few people said that when they heard it was being discontinued they picked one up but not for collecting reasons, more like last chance to get one type thing. Used ones are hard to find and sell for around $1500.

Before I got mine I was using a Hot Rod Deluxe so when I plugged in to the Vibroverb I was blown away. I used to think he HRDx was a good amp but now realise it's an beginner/intermediate amp. Twins, Super Reverbs, etc deserve the high price tag because the sound quality really is much better.
