I have a Fender Amp = "The Twin" bought in around 1990. I have lost the manual. Have looked on here but nothing comes up as "The Twin" I'm from Australia, maybe it was called something different O/Seas (Doubt it though) Can anybody help me find out some info please, havent used it in about 15 years, and am just getting back into playing,

Hi there Hardie, and welcome to the forum. The schematic can be found at: www.webersvt.com/amps1/schematics.htm . Yeah it's called "The Twin"(red knob). As far as the manual goes, I think that you'll have to contact Fender, but they should be able to help you out. Good Hunting ! Art

I have one. The Twin, black knob version. The black knobs were from the latter years of production for this amp. This is one awesome amp! One of the techniqes that SRV used to do with this amp is to blend channel one and two. This amp has a lot of versatility and is extremely heavy. :-)

I actually purchased a cabinet from Mojo and made a head out of mine. This way I can use it with a 4x12 or 2x12 cabinet. It definitely makes is easier to transport.

Thank you, I've got the red knob version, how do you blend channel one and two, and do you mind sharing a couple of your settings and describe what sound you are trying to achive with those settings. Have just found a setting I like using w my fender strat in open G playing some stones stuff

It has been a while since I used mine. I believe the best way to blend in is to put your 1/4 in to channel two and then feed some of the volume and gain into it. If I remember correctly, you need to be plugged into channel two to make this work right. The knobs are push/pull on that amp.

I love playing Stones tunes, especially the Open G stuff. Brown Sugar comes to mind. I believe they were using Ampeg VT40's around that time. It shouldn't be hard to dial in that sound on The Twin.
