Here we go, a set of used rusty strings to the first person to guess what this is going to be.

You'll make a Marshall combo from a speaker cabinet.
Your amp will use 2 X EL84

Stratele

Do you care to guess on which specific model?

Look at the valve sockets and tell me the valve compliment.

18watt Trex is close. It's a Torres chassis from a kit that I over estimated myself with a year and a half ago.

It's a 1974 18watter, with no tremolo.

Where do I send the rusty strings?

Well thankyou all for the compliments.

Not much today lads. Just wiring the valve heaters and cutting the top of the cab to accept the chassis. The valve heater wires are particularly tricky. Once their out the way, your flying, so I'm told.

Photo's later. Does anyone have a good link for re-sticking tolex down?

The cab was a steal £150 with the speakers. Yes there is a load of room in both the cab and chassis. All the good for later on when I want to add a reverb or maybe a tremolo circuit.

Now what to call the thing, seems a bit of a cheek to keep the Marshall badge on the front of the cab.

Suggestions please.

I was thinking Class 18. Or maybe BluesBender.

I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to Marshall (or most) amps!!

I'll go along with Art as he always seems to be knowledgeable in that area!!
