HI All

I am thinking about buying the 212 cab to run with my combo

Technically it works according to the resistance but it is not listed to work with the combo in fenders site .

Anyone tried this ?

How was the result ?

Worth it or not ?

Thanks in advance for your advice

Cheers

:D I built my own Supersonic cabinet and Dropped in (1) 50watt 12" 16ohm Weber Blue dog speaker, and (1) 50watt 12" 16ohm Weber Silverbell speaker. They are wired in parallel, to bring the ohms down to 8ohm's. As long as the cabinet you want to hook up to your Supersonic 1-12 combo is 8ohm's, the amp will be happy. If you look on the pack panel of your amp, you will see it says your main speaker must be 8ohms, and the extension cabinet must be 8ohm's. This is extremely important that you do not deviate from this advice, because you will fry your amp.

After hooking up this 2-12 cabinet to the 1-12 combo, I could not believe how much more bottom end I was able to achieve. I'm not sure if you'll achieve the same amount of bottom end by using the 2 Celestion Vintage 30's that are in the stock Supersonic 2-12 cabinet, that I'm getting with the Webers i'm using. However, you can hook up any cabinet as long as it's rated at 8ohm's.

The 2-12 cabinet sounds awesome with the combo 1-12. Remember 8ohms!!!!!! only with the Supersonic 60watt 1-12 combo.

Thanx.

You can buy an empty cabinet (without speakers) for about $250.00 on line, and then you drop in whatever speakers you want. This will be a cheaper way to go than buying the Fenser matching cabinet. Just remember 8ohms!!!! LOL

Good luck.
