I have a newer model. I am struggling with the level of the signal to the processors on the loop. There are two knobs on the back that control the signal. Is there some trick to setting them correctly so you dont get a louder (or softer) signal when you switch the loop on? Why, without anything on the loop, does it act like a third channel? Any help on this is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

There are some tips to setting the effects loop level controls in the manual on page 6: http://support.fender.com/manuals/manua ... in_Amp.pdf

Just keep fiddling the send and return knobs, and turning on and off the effects loop via the footswitch until you find a volume setting that suits you.

The effects loop is not a third channel. It only boosts or lowers the volume depending on where the send and return levels are set. I hope that makes sense. Good luck.

Thanks to metropolis74 for the assistance. I was able to get it to work last nite. I think the fiddling part was the key. First time around, I didnt allow myself enough time to make adjustments.

THANKS!!
