Yes in a way, your two input jacks that are labeled 1 and 2
the number 1 is a higher sensitivity plug in generally used for
single coils or guitars with lower out put pickups and the number 2
is negative 6 (usually) decibels decreased sensitivity and is geared for
humbucker equipped guitars alot of times for church i will run my
strat through inp 1 and my sg thru inp 2 so i can switch guitars
without turning the amp off but i usually have to turn down the
strat when I am not playing it as it will hum sitting so close to the
amp i have 57/62s pickups not the scn's so
in short you can do it but your 2 input will is 6 decibels
lower so you may have to get your volume balanced on both
guitars just right

Geez I hope it's ok to plug in more than one instrument into an amp. Last weekend I had a drum machine, two guitars and a mic plugged into my Vibroverb. :D

Sure you can, back in the old days it was normal to see a couple of guys using the same amp,or a mic plugged in...the sound won't be the same though.

Yep, I was the guy who usually shared the channel with the mic. It sucked big time. LOL

Hey Arjay did you see us playing in Philly in the mid 60s'?

Philly in the '60s?!?!?

I thought you lived one block over from me in Sacramento, Supro?

Geez, there must've been five or six garage bands in my neighborhood where I grew up. I'll never forget the day I showed up to rehearsal with my first very own amp. My first Fender......a year-old '65 Deluxe. I had to tow it over in my little brother's "Radio Flyer" red wagon. What a hoot.....I think we played "Gloria" and "Secret Agent Man" for five hours straight!

There should be a shrine somewhere in America to honor those 1484 Silvertones. They surely were the backbone for many young bands! Traded my Gibson Scout amp in on a used one back in '65. Used it with a mic for about two years. It never missed a beat ! An old bandmate has one he's been bugging me to get on the bench. Probably do that job this summer. Art

Back in circa 1967 we would have 4 guitars running out of one small combo amp at rehearsal. :)

Yeah that time was something else, and I can't recall anyone complaining about hum or dodgey tubes. The only problems seemed to be the lip shocks off the mic and the drummer losing the beat. Arjay, I remember when the other guitar player got a new '65 Deluxe Reverb. I was so lame, I thought it sounded boxy compared to my big Silvertone. Oh Well ! Art

Yeah, a Twin Twelve was a pretty loud rig for its day. I stepped up from the Deluxe to a '64 blackface Concert about a year later......I never got drowned out again.

(wish I still had that amp as well)

Also went the 4X10 route in '67. Wanted the Super Reverb, but the price was too steep. Bought a 4X10 Standell Reverb, although it was solid state, it served me well for four years. It was actually a real good amp. Art

From that '64 Concert I stepped up to my first new Fender amp......

Image

......A '67 silverface drip-edge Super Reverb that I traded the Concert and $180 cash for. With my '66 Strat and a Vox Tone Bender I thought I was the king of the world!

(note the Standel 4 x 10 Imperial Amp below it)
