The SS 22 will prove to be a fine amp.

OK...so......is this top secret stuff or what? The Supersonic 22W is available online and apparently at select shops. There have been a couple of reviews online at two other forums. Wasn't the amp introduced at last weeks NAMM show? Is there a formal introduction coming????? This is "Fender" central.....right????

Give it up guys :D :D :D

Steve Winwood has been using a Cyber Twin for several years unless he recently swapped it for a black-tolex Super-Sonic 112.

And this has precisely what to do with the original poster's question, Chromefake......?

Why don't you post of pick of yourself gigging with your Supersonic 22 and a Strat?

(or more likely your Squire 10G and a Starcaster)

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Retro/Arjay, can you stop making me laughing too much with all your fun? 8)

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough sparing time to use my Kodak Easyshare CX7300 in order to post a picture of myself with my brother's Squier Silver Series "Blackie".

Keep in mind that I'll satisfy your thoughts when the time permits..

Best regards,

John

If you expect any "street cred" you'll make that time sooner rather than later.

Does retroverbial mean you talk old $@!&? Maybe he could buy "cred".

Chromeface, I've been meaning to thank you for your informative posts with pictures. They are always a welcome addition. You're a positive force.

Come on guys ! This is off topic; Chrome did you take that photo ? What strikes me about that photo is the mic placement on the amps. There are subtle differences, wonder if it's all the sound person, or if the players are also involved. Any way, I bet that was one great concert. Hey Mike, can you tell us where those reviews are located ? Art

It means that I always earn more than enough annually from my band endeavors to pay for all my vintage toys and that my amp and guitar repair clients consider themselves fortunate that I have the time and the knowledge to bring their plans to fruition.

It also means that when I post a pic of a piece of gear, it's generally a proprietary photograph (that means I own the copyright, pal) of something I either currently own or have owned in the past -- either of which happens to be directly or obliquely germane to the topic of the thread.

That about do it for you?

Arjay

Posting photos that aren't yours or not given permission by the photographer is copyright infringement. I would just post the link to the photographer or copyright owners site.

The OP mentioned his old Super Sonic, so that establishes germaneness. No one knows if the photos are copyrighted or his originals or free game. So if I quote your post with a pic, I owe you money? You guys need to get real and be friendly to our forum brothers. And no, bullies don't do it for me, pal.

Not precisely, GTG. There is a "fair use" exception for copyrighted material that permits its use for non-commercial informational purposes. Which is why intellectual piracy cases involving the posting of photos on forums are seldom, if ever legally pursued. And no one is "bullying you" -- intentionally or otherwise. We're here to help each other (to the extent that we can).

Shalom

That's what I thought. So I saw no logic in singling out CF for senseless criticism. He, not I, was being picked on unfairly.

Wow! I guess everyone hears things differently. I love my 60watt Supersonic. All I can say is don't be afraid to use all of the tone controls on the amp and on your guitar. I will say the amp desperatly needs to have an extention cabinet hooked up to it to achieve any kind of bottom end. The Celestion Vintage 30, in my opinion, is the wrong speaker for this amp. It is way too "mid-rangey".
