i was wondering if anyone knows what effect my woodstove heat would have on like my 4x12;s??? will the dry heat dry up the speaker cones>>/? i do keep my guitars in the other room but what about my 4x12's and my combo's??????--Rock on Dave

How hot do the cabs get? Are they right up next to the stove? Excessive heat will shorten the lifespan of the wiring in the speakers and probably won't do any good for the rest of them either.

Get a cheap hygrometer and measure the humididty. It it's low, put a humidifier in the room (or a pan of water on the stove).
