I recently picked up a US Blues Deluxe (I think it's a '93, first year, though I've not verified that yet). Didn't come with a foot switch, but I just picked up a brand new one (P/N 0028122000). Is this the correct number for this amp?

The channel switching works just fine. The reverb switch though, has no effect (the reverb on the amp works fine, it just requires use of the knob to dial it on and off).

Can anyone give me a good way to verify if it's the switch or the amp? Switch (brand new, wrapped) came from eBay, and I got a good deal. But to ship it back if it's not defective makes it not such a good deal. Anyone know a good way to trouble shoot either the amp or the switch?

USA Blues deluxe amps from the 90's only had channel switching via footswitch. It came with a single button footswitch. Reverb was not switchable.

Doh! Thanks for the reply, wasn't aware they were set up that way. I wonder what might be involved in modding the amp to the current configuration so the reverb is switchable?
