Anyone who has tried to get deluxe sound out of a Supersonic? I have a MXR 10 band EQ and will try to get as close as possible. But since I'm a bit lazy, there might be a fellow guitarplayer out there who already solved the probleme.

The Supersonic is designed to clone the sounds of the Vibrolux Reverb or the Bassman. I have to say: that any amp that is wired to get the "Vibrolux Reverb" sound: should come very close to the 22 watt Deluxe Reverb. I have always looked at The Vibrolux Reverb as a higher power "Deluxe Reverb" anyway. It would help to know what 'sound' you are missing in that Deluxe Reverb search.

The vibrolux has two tone controls. Bass and treble. The Deluxe has three, bass, mid and treble. So my question is more: What range/ranges on my EQ should I enhance/weaken.
I'm looking for a real country/rockabilly sound. I have a 96 tele with Lollar alnico 3 p/u from Lollar. I mostly play the bassman and the "burn" amp on the SS, but some songs need the vibrolux/deluxe sound.

Uh, I checked my '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue twice and it has no middle control. Just treble and bass. :)

I own a Supersonic combo and a '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. The Vibrolux channel on my Supersonic is much brighter than the DRRI. I'm always cranking the treble down on that channel and up when I switch to the Bassman. So I would start with rolling off treble and experiment from there.

Sorry my mistake. I checked and your totally right, but It's not the deluxe, it's the twin reverb I'm referring to. But I've tried to lower 200 to 1000 Hz and brighten up from 1000 Hz. I'm almost there now. Will continue to test tonight.

Yesterday I found a nice sound. I took a photo of the EQ to show here, but I don't know how to upload the picture. Anybody who knows how to upload pictures?
