Hello...

I am going to build a 1x12 speaker cabinet for my Frontman 25R amplifier because a stack looks cool. However, I do not know how to get my signal from the amp to the cab. Should I connect a cable from the headphone jack to the cab, or tape one off of my existing speaker wires??? Or do something else completely unknown to me???

Any & all help will be appreciated...

Thanks! 8)

Do neither or just make an external cab with a 12" speaker and wire in an external jack into the back of the Frontman 25R that when you plug in the 12" via the external cable it disables the internal 10" speaker.

You will have to make sure the impedance of the external speaker is the same as the internal. Try to get a 12" speaker at a wattage similar or just above the front-mans speaker.

By looking at cabinet designs and careful speaker selection you might be able to get a fuller sound.

Read everything on this page and download the designer demo
http://eminence.com/resources/designer.asp

Running a whole pile of speakers off that amp will probably just overload it. If you don't know how to solder then you shouldn't be doing this get a friend with some experience and be warned that inside the box dangerous voltages are lurking to kill you.

OK thanks. I know how to solder, so I'm good there, but I just wasn't sure how to connect them... That Eminence page was awesome!!!

Thanks! 8)
