For some reason to me it seems like the eq settings on my amp are a bit wierd. It almost seems like when I roll of the bass it adds treble, not just lower bass.

anyways anyone got a good clean eq settings I can test out to see how the eq works with it?

I think what your experiencing is normal. When you roll back the bass there are some other things that need tending to, presence will tend to make everything trebly if other things are not adjusted right, same with the bright switch on the clean channel. I've noticed on mine that when I turn the presence up, it helps the reverb sound better, odd as that may seem.

I've found that when one knob is changed, usually you have to change some right along with it.

As far as the settings go, all I can say to do is just play around with everything. Different settings will sound different from one rig to another.

Ya I really like the amp a lot, and plan on swapping out the 12ax7 in the v1 position for a 12at7 for less gain, but ya i noticed the eq thing, any particular settings to start a base from?

I have a 93 original 4x10 B-Deville
I think they are pretty much the same.
I found that the very best way to find the tone you want with any amp is to put it all on 5 (tone settings) and tweak away untill you love it.

I have found that other peoples settings very seldom work.

I play a Hot Rod Deluxe and I found that putting a Jan Philips 12AT7 in V1 really made the amp more pedal friendly.

And I use an Electro-Harmonix 12AU7 in V2. It smoothed out the distortion in the Drive Channel and I have a more granular control over the gain in that stage.

I also changed my output tube to SED Winged C's. This amp is unbelievable and has a wide range of tones.
