Hello Folks, I've been having an issue with my amp, maybe someone knows something. It powers on, and everything works fine, as soon as I volume up, the sound completely turns off and the Overdrive channel light stays on, even if press the channel select switch on and off, then out of the blue it will start working again. happens over and over.

-Cheers

Hi,

Check +/-16V supply and the big white resistors that can be desoldered.

Tissan

By the way, take care about high voltage that can kill you. :!:

+1 Those 5 watt power resistors cause all kinds of problems including random channel switching. They develop all kinds of heat related issues. Sometimes you can touch up the solder joints, but sometimes the traces lift off the board.
If you replace them, leave a little space between the resistors and the board so air can circulate around them.
