Hi.

Until recently I used my HRD with some "crapy" homemade extension cabinet (with 1×Vintage 30), but today I got a nice made 2 × 12 enclosure and I would like to put a vintage 30 from "crapy" box, buy another Vintage 30 and than put them both in new extension cab. Since the total impendace needs to be 8 Ohm I would like to know if there is a way to wire two 8 Ohm speakers to 8 Ohm total. I still need to have internal speaker connected so there isn't an option of putting a blank jack in internal speaker output.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx,

Andrej

Impossibile to achieve with a pair of 8Ω speakers.

You either get 4Ω in parallel or 16Ω in series.

The best bet for your amp and a 2 x 12 extension cabinet is to equip the extra enclosure with 16Ω speakers wired in parallel.
