Can someone tell me how to install heat proof O rings? Is it over the tube to prevent contact with the retaining springs? I can't tell what exactly is making contact. Thanks.

Those O ring are only use is to be install direct on the glass, keeping the tube to vibrate internally.

Here is how you fix tube rattle.....buy a ValveTrain Amp. To prevent rattle from happening this is what VT uses:
Micalex or Ceramic Tube sockets with retainers - rated at 10,000 insertions and no rattle.

I just love mine - killer!!!

I've had plenty of amps in my time but this one tops them all, the 2 x 8 inch Weber speakers are really nice and the quality and workmanship are second to none. Not to mention the tone - tone - tone = WOW.
I have been thinking about how 2 of them would sound running together. 8) 8)

I'm curious to see the look of the valve train tube retainer. Are they Fender style or marshall style ?

Or another type ?

You have picture ?

Exactly which one Valvetrain uses, I'm not sure, I suppose you could email them to ask specifically. They actually will reply.
