I have a VOX AD50VT amp that has TERRIBLY LOW output volume when using headphones. I just ordered a Fender Frontman 25R and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how well it works with headphones (volume wise). I am not looking to blow my eardrums out but sometimes at night I still would like to crank the volume up a little.

I have the same amp..........it is loud enough with headphones...........but the quality of the sound is, of course not as good as the amp itself. But if all you're looking for.....is to play late at night and not disturb anyone......it'll do the job. Actually it a nice amp. I've had it for years, and use it all the time as my practice amp. I have no complaints at all.

Thanks for the response. I ordered the Frontman just to practice with at home. I regret ever buying the VOX.
