I've been sitting in with a praise band at a friends church. Up until last night I have only played bass. Well, last night I played guitar and took my SCXD with my pedalboard and Oscar Schmidt OE-30. With my band I always mic my amp and haven't considered using the line out. Well the church had a DI with a cable ready to plug in so I just plugged it in. I have to be honest, I was blown away by how good it sounded. Everyone there had to make a comment about the tone of the guitar and amp. I have been going between the OE-30 and my Agile Harm-1 with P-90s as my gigging guitar and think I might just have to stay with the OE-30. It really does sound incredible, such a great combination.

I agree about the SCXD sounding great for the price, especially. Actually, I think that it can sound as good or better than amps costing much more. I use a distortion pedal in channel 1 for apartment practice. 15 watts can get loud. Even the 5 watt Vibro Champ XD is way too loud for apartment dwellers. I see that Vox has an amp that attenuates down to 1/4 watt. On the other hand, I read that 1 watt can barely push a speaker at all.
