I just picked up an HRD 4 x 10 and the previous owner had accidentally removed most of the identifiers on the chassis which designate the chicken head knobs for volume, tone etc.

Anyone know of a source for a replacement part, fix or otherwise?

I have seen a decal for $25 which means partially disassembling the unit which is a little scary because of the power in there.

The reverb is pooched as well. Any quick and easy diagnostics for the reverb tank for someone who is not an electrical engineer?

Lastly, anyone recommend a volume attenuator for the HRD so my neighbours don't hate me?

Thanks,

Mike

Try here for the faceplate
http://www.webervst.com/design/faceplates.htm They can make you a faceplate. You may want to design it yourself. You won't have to dismantle the whole amp. Just remove the knobs and nuts and washers from the pots and switches. Carefully lay the plate down and replace washers, nuts and knobs. The knobs have set screws in them so don't just try to yank them off.
Go here for an attenuator
http://www.tedweber.com/atten.htm
Or here
http://www.drzamps.com/products/z_air_brake.html

The reverb, check your connections from the tank to the amp. If you have a buddy with the same amp try your tank in it. The tank is not tube driven. If the tank checks out okay, I'd take it to a tech.
