Also give www.eurotubes.com a look over.

If you go here:
https://ssl.eurotubes.com/cart/index.ph ... gory_id=31

you will see various retube kits for the Blues Junior. I used the standard retube kit for mine just about a month ago. Give them a call and tell them about your playing style and they will help you select an appropriate tube kit.

Ive tried alot of tube combinations in my blues jr. au7`s at7`s and different brands of ax7`s. I finally settled for just straight jj`s 3 ax7`s and 2 EL84`S. FOR my Tin ears these tubes actually complement the amp without messing with the original make up of the amp, they seem to boost and warm up the low end.Of course this is all subjective to your musical tastes.

I use Eurotubes most often. Them guys there are very knowledgeable and accomodating. You can either speak with them by phone or by e- mail. You tell the guys what you are looking for (clean, early break up, late break up etc.) and they will recommend tubes to meet your requirements.
