Soo, whenever I turn on my amp..I have it set to the clean channel, with the reverb set to 4. However without any of the other gain buttons engaged, my footswitch LED (Drive/More Drive show a dim light red color which slightly flickers). Not the normal green color you get from the reg gain channel. When I play it, I get no reverb at all and it seems louder than normal. Every now and then it will kick over and act normal..with the reverb working fine and the LED back to normal. I've tried diconnecting the footswitch and using a cable instead of the reg cord, but the amp acts up with or without the footswitch. I replaced all my tubes with no avail. I also cleaned all the pots. Any ideas?? Thanks

Congratulations, you HRDlx came up with something mine didn't do. If it does random channel switching, I'd look at the 5 watt power resistors. I'd check the reverb connections. It sounds like it may be a problem for a tech to handle unless maybe Art or Retroverbial have any ideas.

Those 5-watt cement resistors (I think they're R78 and R79) are prone to thermal failures due to their proximity to the PCB. It could also be the switching diodes in the channel-select circuit.

I had the same problem on a custommer amp. It was R 79, the "copper tape" was burn under the circuit board
