Finally paid off the lay away on my Custom Shop Twin!!! Way nicer amp than I deserve... can't wait until wife and 11 month old leave me home alone to crank it!The local guy sold it to me for $1500 brand new to get it off his floor. I'll never forget that favor! He's got a loyal customer now for life.

Thanks... any advice on set up? Its new but its been at the store long enough I think its been broke in tube/speaker wise. But any tips on milking some good sounds would be appreciated! Haven't heard it make a bad one yet though... ;)

Congratulations on your new amp. Every once in a while we have to treat ourselves to help us keep our sanity. Enjoy!

SICK! My next amp purchase (...way, way down the road) will be a a Tweed Deluxe style amp.

I'm really leaning toward the Tungsten Crema Wheat:

Have fun with that; nothing beats a Fender amp/Fender guitar combo...and the home alone crankin times are the best... 8)

Congratulations. That's a fine looking amplifier you got, and at a great price too.

As for making it sound good, I think you'd have to work hard to make it sound bad. If that fails, turn it up really loud and play Gimme Shelter.

That's a lovely amp - let us know how it sounds. Can you get a good sound without blowing out your eardrums?

PS I like your BDlx + extension set-up, it's what I use mainly at the moment.
