I recenlty purchased the MIDI footboard for the Cybertwin (2005 model I beleive). I love everything about it but one HUGE problem. The volume pedal is way too sensitive and if I play on a stage that moves or bounces a little, or just barely tap the side of the volume pedal when I use the other expression pedal as a wah, the master volume turns down. I don't really use the volume pedal so I would love to just turn it off - deactivate it so it does not control the master volume. Does anyone know if this can be done, and if so how? Thanks.

you cannot deactivate it with a programming option. whenever the pedal is moved, it immediately sends program change commands to the Cyber Twin, the Cyber Twin will obey them and change the volume. there's nothing you can do about this, not settable on/off by software, the cyber twin does not provide this as an option for programming.

however, there are two adjustment screws on the side of the pedal. you can make it mechanically tough to move the pedal, just enough to avoid pedal movement due to "bumps" and "vibration". to tighten up the screws, you will need an open-end 10mm (not 3/8") wrench (i tried it and that's the size that fits), don't use pliers or you will butcher the screws, use about 1/8 of a full rotation (not more) & try it. same applies to the expression pedal, however, the expression pedal can be assigned to anything, including master volume (you don't really want to do this, but you can).

good luck,
johnny.
