How much does the blues deluxe weigh? I have a twin reverb and she stays put. What about some kind of cart made with wheels to move around but that wouldnt really help with lifting it. Maybe someone here with a education higher then my 6th grade can help out.. :D

With my Hotrod Deville 410 for rehearsals or gig's...I always ask someone else in the band to help carry a side.

I have never had good luck with casters, they seem to cause tubes to drop out and on most surfaces they can't be used.

old methods work for the madness....

Bend your knees picking up, get a buddy to help...

If nobody helps me lifting it well then it's no rehearsal or gig...

Be damned If I ruin my back just to entertain someone else...as much as I love Music.

Pft! When I help my friends carry their gear I tell them that I don't mind carrying their guitar but they knew how much the amp weighed when they bought it so they're on their own.

Get one of those small trolleys used for moving. You can get one at Lowes rated for 300 lbs for $30.

I bought a 600 lb capacity hand truck many years ago. I think that might be what you need. Best $30 I ever spent! 8)

I'm all for the cart/handtruck option. When I was gigging I made up a trolley with large casters to get my heavy Peavey Deuce and Traynor Mk.III around.Another idea that could help save your back is to install handles on each side so that two can carry it as they do with 4-12 cabinets.

Honestly, I've used my hand truck to move refrigerators, washing machines and dryers, kitchen ranges, heavy heavy wood burning stoves... you name it. It is one handy item for any homeowner to have. An amp would be easy. Use a pad to protect it and stand it on end on the truck... even strap it on for safety. 8)

Or... get yourself a roadie.

Smart thinking! I used to carry much heavier and now my back is reminding me every day. :?

Good suggestions already mentioned!
