It happens. Sounds like the tube developed a vacuum leak. You need to replace the pair and check the bias. I'd steer clear of Groove Tubes.

Thank you so much for the quick reply. So groove tubes are no good ? how much does a new pair of decent tubes cost?

I never had any luck with them. I've used JJ's for years. I also use JAN Phillips and a smattering of NOS tubes here and there. But for your amp, I'd go with JJ's. You may want to look and be sure no components were damaged as well as the board. If the amps only a year old, it should be under warranty except for the tubes and speaker.
I bought mine from www.eurotubes.com
Bob also has biasing videos on his site as well and important biasing information. Heed all warnings about high voltage.

No. Fender only warranties tubes for 90 days. http://www.fender.com/support/warranty/ ... R64CE3.pdf Besdides, Fender would tell you to find your nearst Fender authorized repair center, they don't drop what they're doing and take amps back to the factory to work on unless you're a rock star I assume

There is no need to bias your Blues Junior because there is no bias adjustment pot. The how to bias videos on the Eurotubes website DO NOT apply to the Blues Junior. Just email Bob at Eurotubes and tell him you have a Blues Junior and tell him if you want early, medium, or late power tube breakup and he will suggest a duo of EL84's perfect for your Blues Junior. Just plug the new tubes and play.

I don't think the Blues Jr is a cathode bias amp.
Billm has a mod for it too. http://home.comcast.net/~machrone/bjr/bjbias.htm

Just because an amp does not have a bias adjustment pot doesn't make it a self biasing amp. It's still a fixed bias amp. The bias voltage may be too high and killed the tube or it may have lost vacuum. I'd still get the bias checked.
EL84's tend to run pretty hot and Fender biases these amps hot to get the tone it has.

Contact 'Mike' (I think is his name) at the link below. Tell him what you have and the sound you want and he'll recommend some nice, nice tubes.
