When I am using a couple of the preset amp voices, specifically#12 is the worst offender, I find that my music is fading away. The best way I can describe it is that it sounds like it's shorting out. I find this tends to happen with higher gain settings of the amp.

Any thoughts?

I agree with the first answer. Try 3 known good tubes and see.

I had the same problem with channel 13 or 14. I can't remember which one. I swapped out the tubes and didn't have any luck. I had to stop using that channel.
