Hi

The reverb on my BDRI is anemic and nothing like that found on the Deluxe Reverb, Princeton Recording Amp, Twin etc.

Do you other guys with the BDRI have the same issue, or is my amp defecto?

Would it help to swap out the reverb tank for one used in the DRRI etc.?

Thanks

Swapping the tank probably won't help. The reverb is solid state driven. The reverb on the Twin is tube driven. The Reverb on my HRDlx was the worst I ever heard. It was very harsh sounding compared to the Twin and DR.

OK...So I own both.. the deluxe reverb and the Blues Deluxe... And I happen to prefer the weaker reverb on the Blues Deluxe... The DR reverb is complete overkill... I'll never have it beyond 3...

I have heard of others clipping the C50 bright cap under the reverb control to get descent results.Personally, I love the reverb of the drri below 3.It has so much more depth than the bd.

Jodo, I'm afraid the tanks are not interchangeable, between the Deluxe Reverb and the Blues Deluxe. Apparently, the connections inside the tanks are susceptible to breakage and there are other possible issues. I would try cleaning the RCA plugs for the reverb tank, before counting it out. You might want to google," reverb tank for Blues Deluxe". I found some interesting info there. Art
