I'm an idiot... Was in the middle of replacing my blues jr's speaker and reverb tank and decided to give the inside of the cab a good cleaning. Then I ate dinner. When I came back to the amp, I couldn't remember if it was the longer dark screws held the speaker or the reverb tank. The other option is the smaller silver screws. It's an older green board. I believe either a 96 or 97. If someone could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

If anyone is wondering, I'm putting a Cannabis Rex and a Ruby tank in it.

Yeah Jb, that's a good one. Over the years I've found myself in the same boat, but it was usually wiring and components, none of us are immune to that scenario. Alright, if the reverb tank does not have thick insulators for the screws, than the shortest screws would go there(and I'm thinking the unfinished silver ones). It's really about the clearance. The speaker screws can't be so long as to go through the baffle board. Art

Something I learnt a long time ago was to keep the screws with the part and to lay everything out nice and neat. I even put the screws in the part while they're sitting around.

Thanks for the replies. The new tank does have the isolators, same as stock. Either set of screws looks like they could do either task. I'd imagine it probably doesn't matter a whole lot but I'd rather put them back in the correct location. 61', can you take a look in yours and let me know which is which on yours? I'll let you guys know my thoughts when I get it all back together. The only other thing I'm doing is a retube with JJs.

On a better note, I should be getting my Music Man Axis SS w/ MM90s today!!

its been a few days, so, you probably already figured it out, anyways.

Good Luck!
