Nedorama,
Does your brakelite generate much heat?

No. It's rated for amps 40 watts and under, and doesn't get warm in the cabinet. So it's really a "cool" piece of gear...

Thanks for the reply. I may have to try one of those with my BDRI (40 watts). They seem to get lots of favorable comments on the internet.

hello every one
I have a fender bassman 59 2003
i play withe a gibson bb king lucille
this is an amazing amp and i discover thet it is even beter when it's cranked up , it have an amazing worm overdrive thet i have never heard from overdrive pedal , i have the bk buttler but it is not even close .
this overdrive start when i put the volume at 5.5 but the real action is when i put it on 7 , a m a z i n g ,
my question is : can it damage the amp if i play it when it's cranked up (volume on 7 ) or it's just wearing the tubes ??????
(the bb king lucille have an output of a single coil )

I love this question. I have always wondered if you can damage an amp if you crank it. I have a 77 Marshall with 4x12 greenbacks that has been road dogged for 20 years. The only real issue is vibration. The handles on the cabinet rattle and the rear cover hums and buzzes. The head rear cover rattles. All tubes are micro-phonic to some extent and a cranked amp bleeds vibration and sound into the tubes at high volume. Its basically alive when cranked. The grill cloth will hum and buzz too. There is a lot of air movement around a cranked amp and a lot of resonant vibration. It sounds like heaven with the symphony of sounds it makes. I would say crank it and if something breaks or falls off just fix it. I am going to drill out the rivets on my handles and replace them one of these days when I get brave. You are always going to get vibrations with age like an old car, cranked or not.

Very cool Eladtall. Sounds great. You have a Richie Blackmore look going on man! Are blues a big thing in Israel?

I'm from the States bro. Fortunately for us, there is a radio station and a venue somewhere which caters to all most every type of music you could want. Thanks to "Guitar Hero", I don't think there are many 15 year old kids who haven't heard of the great Led Zeppelin!

Pop makes me puke but it's definitely a crowd favorite.
