I was told to set the Bias on my 6V6GT's to 15mA. But I've read other places that I can push them as high as 28-30 for playing Blues. I know it will shorten the life, but that I don't care about, I just want the best I can get out of the tubes without blowing something up :-) I also replaced the rectifier with a 5V4

Any recommendations would be great. I'm not looking for all the mathematical equations on plate this plate that, just simply what can I set the Bias mA to. I have the Bias-King and it makes it very easy to set if anyone cares.

Thanks.

OK Bluz, forget the p----s, and set the bias by ear. Anywhere between 15ma and 35ma will work. Art
