Is it possible to use the reverb connections on a Princeton Reissue as an effects loop?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

No it's not possible, since you're dealing with dramatically different signal levels.

Secondly, why bother?

Effects loops aren't really that useful. Get an A/B looping box (like this http://www.robertkeeley.com/product.php?id=23) , put your pedals through it and run through the input of your amp. Don't butcher a perfectly good Princeton Reverb for no reason.

What are you trying to accomplish that you can't get by plugging into the front of the amp?

I'm thinking of getting a M13 or a Nova System and everything I've read says that drives should in front of the amp and effects through the effects loop. But I would never hook something up to my amp unless I was sure no harm would be done. Thanks for your reply.
