This is my first post here I'm the new guy and the Amp
that I have and will be sellingis a VOX AC-30TBX. Yesterday
I went to GC to look for a new Amp I played a Doctor Z
then I played a reissue 65 Fender Twin Reverb. The last
Amp that I played was a (Reissue 59 Bassman LTD) and
that Amp blew me away I play two different guitars a
G&L Asat Classic and a Gretsch 6128TBEE Duo Jet and
I only had the G&L but it gave the sound that I was after.
So now I know that I'm going to stay with Fender Amps!!

Hi there,

I have a BMRI. GREAT AMP. Here is a link to the club:

Curious though why you would want to sell your VOX, that is a great amp too - though a bit HEAVY to carry around.

Why would you want to sell the Vox? I use an A/B/Y with my '59 Bassman LTD and Vox AC30 TB. Couldn't be happier with the tones I can get.

Papa Dave,

Your set up sounds wonderful.... cept I would hate to have to lug it around for set up! Those Vox's are unreasonably heavy. But to A/B and combine the tones of the AC30 with the BMRI - wow.... close to heaven. Enjoy!

Yeah, that thing is very heavy. But, once everything is set up, its worth it. My actual setup is:

Guitar (Gretsch 6120 or Gibson Les Paul) --> A/B box. "A" side --> Stage Tuner. "B" side --> input on A/B/Y. "A" side --> OD pedal --> another OD pedal --> Phase Shifter --> Delay/Echo --> '59 Bassman. "B" side --> straight into Vox AC30 with a THD HotPlate.

Like I said, I'm really satisfied with the tones I get and don't think I'll be making any changes in the foreseeable future.
