I can't seem to get anyone on this site to tell me what tubes and speaker might be best for my HRD. Soooo I have decided to go with JJ6L6GC kit and a Weber 12" Siver Bell speacker. I checked out the Eurotubes web site and it seemed this would be a great way to take my HRD to the next level. Wish me luck.

JJs are good... I switch between them and Sovtek... depending on pricing. Tried Svetlanas but they wore out pretty quickly. Sovtek seems to be a little more robust than JJ and also more tolerant of amp bias. Just be sure to get a matched pair.

As for speakers... I actually like the stock ones that came in my deville... essentially a custom built Eminence. Good luck

JJ's are a great choice. I run them in my HR DeVille, and they sound great. Much better (to me) than the stock Sovtek tubes. I've heard great things about the Silver Bell, but my cab is loaded with 10"s, so I've no experience there. Good luck.

Once I biased my HRD up it didn't need anything else to be honest. The biggest issue with the HRD is a cold bias.
